Situated overlooking Oxford Street in London's West End, 6 Ramillies Street is a mixed used-building providing 4 floors of office space that sit above retail units on Oxford Street. Renovated in 2008 by Amanda Levete Architects, providing a striking facade and an additional floor, the building was in need of bringing some of the existing fire doors up to date to meet all current fire standards and regulations.

The client were keen to work with just one accredited company who would provide the complete service to ensure that all fire doors were brought up to date. Doorview were selected to undertake all of the work as follows:

+ Extracted the existing non-conforming fire doors ensuring no damage to existing walls/structure.
+ Manufactured full replacement doorsets to the bespoke sizes of the existing openings.
+ Carefully installed the replacement doorsets ensuring that they are fully compliant to fire door regulations.
+ Painted the doors on site to match existing colour scheme.
+ Supplied and installed all ironmongery ensuring compliance to performance standards and CE marking where required.

The works were undertaken with a minimum of fuss and disruption to existing tenants, whilst ensuring peace of mind that all fire doors in the building will perform as required in the event of fire.
